The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed in regards to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company level made for intervention experiences a higher inflow of opportunity sassa status beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to help the servicing of all customers and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
