Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?



The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.

Applications are now open and can shut on 15 December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the subsequent criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house with a combined gross domestic income that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined house income won't exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of earnings.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for more info the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent residents from my nsfas households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
